At the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, we are deeply committed to fostering academic excellence and empowering future leaders through meaningful financial support and scholarship opportunities. In alignment with the Sorority’s Educational Development thrust, we support local and national scholarship initiatives that recognize scholastic achievement, leadership, community engagement, and the pursuit of higher education.

Through the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF), which partners with Delta Sigma Theta to fund and administer scholarships and internships, deserving students—including high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students—can access financial awards that help defray the cost of post-secondary education and support academic and professional advancement. These opportunities include merit-based awards, field-specific scholarships, and programs honoring the legacies of notable leaders and sorors.

At the chapter level, we proudly award annual scholarships to graduating seniors and college-bound students within our community who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a dedication to service—reflecting Delta’s long-standing commitment to scholarship as a cornerstone of personal and community growth.
