President's Message

Greetings Sorors, Guests, Community Partners, and Friends,
On behalf of the members of the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter I am so pleased to welcome you to our website. We hope you will learn more about us and some of the work we are doing in the City of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. It is my great privilege and honor to greet you as the 30th President of the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter, an organization of talented, college educated women dedicated to empowering and positively impacting the community in a lasting and profound way.
We are humbled by the opportunity to collaborate and partner with many agencies and community organizations in our area to mentor and advocate for our youth. We take to heart our commitment to advocate for all and to be agents of change in and with the community. The Chapter does so in alignment with the
sorority’s 110+ years of public service and its Five Point Programmatic Thrust:

o Economic Development
o Educational Development
o International Awareness and Involvement
o Physical and Mental Health
o Political Awareness and Involvement

.....and being responsive to the needs, interests, and values of the community we serve.
The Annapolis Alumnae Chapter, for over 75 years, has been committed to executing programs, projects, and activities that uplift and transform lives: awarding scholarships to students; assisting and supporting underserved communities dealing with health and housing issues; enriching the lives of our elderly; advocating for critical legislation; educating community on human trafficking, OPIOID use, financial management, and much more; and providing needed resources for the community to grow and thrive.
Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to participate with us in our public service efforts. Additionally, Sorors are invited to visit our chapter meeting and become part of our Chapter.
God Bless,
Karol Salisbury
President
